Photographs By Gas Light.—Dr. Lover, the well-known artisan, has devised an apparatus for taking photographs by gas light. The main feature being the introduction of a stream of oxygen into the flame of common coal gas which had been previously made to pass through cotton and naptha, with the view of surcharging it with carbon, so as to increase the brilliancy on the admission of the oxygen.
