Thomas C. Ellegood appeared in one announcement on January 30, 1852 in Philadelphia Inquirer (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania).  Thomas C. Ellegood, a tailor, but who recently followed the business of a Daguerreotypist, fell through the ice and was drowned, near Salem, N. C., on the 14th inst.  He was from Richmond, Va.
