Daguerrean Likenesses.  Those wishing portraits of themselves or friends, may obtain them executed in admirable style of excellence, by calling on Dr. McIntyre, at his room, late the office of the Florida Sentinel.  We have never before, in any portion of the Union, seen such specimens of the art as Dr. M. offers.  When it is felt that the time may very soon come when the removal of a friend by death or otherwise, will give to the portrait of the lost one a value which, to the bereaved heart, is unspeakable, many will avail themselves of the opportunity which now presents itself of securing a living breathing likeness.

Dr. McIntyre tells us he shall leave Tallahassee in a few days.  All, therefore, who wish miniatures must be prompt.  We believe it is no exaggeration to say, That Dr. M.’s pictures are inferior to none now taken by this process.  He has at great pains to bring them to perfection; and his success in Charleston and other places where there was great competition, is sufficient evidence of the superiority of his pictures.
