Anthony Jaquay formerly of the firm Jaquay & Savery (Anthony Jaquay & Dennis Savery) now Jaquay & Reid (Anthony Savery & R. T. Reid) was recorded in one advertisement that ran from December 30, 1850 to January 27, 1851 in The Portsmouth Inquirer (Portsmouth, Ohio).  Dissolution of Partnership, The partnership heretofore existing between Anthony Jaquay & Dennis Savery in the Daguerrean business, is this day dissolved by mutual consent.  All business unsettled will be settled by A. The business will hereafter conducted by A. Jaquay & R. T. Reid under the firm Jaquay & Reid.

Anthony Jaquay is not listed in other photographic directories.  Ohio Photographers 1839-1900 and Craig’s Daguerreian Registry list an A. J. Jaquay active in Zanesville, Ohio in 1856 at this time it is unknown if they are the same person.
