1853 Rooms on Ford Street, Ogdensburgh, New York.
G. W. Conger was recorded in an advertisement that ran from February 15 to June 28, 1853 in the St. Lawrence Republican (Ogdensburgh, New York). Great Rush for Conger’s Saloon. We would call the attention of the citizens of Ogdensburgh and vicinity, to Mr. C’s Daguerrean Saloon, on Ford Street, where you can get a correct Likeness of yourself taken by sky-light. This light gives a clean, bold, deep impression, free from the dark shades that so often ruin pictures taken by side light. Mr. C. gives particular attention to the taking of Children by a new process, enabling him to secure an exact Likeness in almost an instant of time. Operating hours from 8 A. M. to 5 P. M., without regard to weather. N. B.—Pictures taken of sick or deceased persons at their residence, if required.
G. W. Conger was not recorded in other photographic directories.
