Listed in the Cazenovia Republican newspaper on September 24, 1856.  A report of the of the premiums awarded at the Madison County Agricultural Society annual fair, held on September 8, 9 and 10, 1856.  J. L. Abbott of Morrisville, New York was awarded a premium for best daguerreotypes.  To date no other advertisements or articles have been found.
