Mr. Kennedy was recorded in one advertisement that ran from August 31, 1847 to March 7, 1848 in The Oswego Palladium (Oswego, New York).  Daguerreotype.—Mr. Kennedy would respectfully inform the ladies and gentlemen of this place that he has taken rooms in the Eagle Block, where he is prepared to take Daguerreotype likenesses.  He does not recommend himself to be the best Daguerrean artist in the country, but if they will call and he does not give them satisfaction so as to get their money, he pledges himself to be sorry.

Mr. Kennedy is listed in Craig’s Daguerreian Registry as being active in the partnership of Gray & Kennedy in 1850-1851 in Oswego, New York.
