Our friend, Dr. Jarvis, had a narrow escape with his neck on Monday.—He was driving down the hill, at St Anthony, when the coupling of his buggy came apart, and he was pitched headlong upon a pile of rock.  He saved his life by “the skin of his teeth,” but is nevertheless, not so badly injured but that he can attend, as usual, to other people’s teeth.

Only Two Weeks Longer!  A Rare opportunity now occurs a splendid Daguerreotype for $1.25.  In large quarter cases or frames, $2.00.  Double, heavy gold plated lockets, with picture on both sides, $5.00, cheap.  I am disposing of my entire Daguerreotype stock at a trifling advance on cost; and will discontinue that art, in order to give my undivided attention to Dentistry, and the conduct of a Drug Store, which I intend opening in the Spring.  Jarvis, Artist, Cor. Fifth and Jackson sts.
